अ॒ग्निः पूर्वे॑भि॒र्ऋषि॑भि॒रीड्यो॒ नूत॑नैरु॒त स दे॒वाँ एह व॑क्षति
agníḥ pū́rvebhir ŕ̥ṣibhir agníḥ agní- pū́rvebhiḥ pū́rva- ŕ̥ṣibhiḥ ŕ̥ṣi- ī́ḍyo nū́tanair utá ī́ḍyaḥ ī́ḍya- nū́tanaiḥ nū́tana- utá utá sá devā́m̐ éhá vakṣati sá sá- ~ tá- devā́n devá- ā́ ā́ ihá ihá vakṣati √vah-
agníḥ pū́rvebhiḥ ŕ̥ṣibhiḥ ī́ḍyaḥ nū́tanaiḥ utá sá devā́n ā́ ihá vakṣati
agníḥ pū́rvebhir ŕ̥ṣibhir ī́ḍiyo nū́tanair utá sá devā́m̐ éhá vakṣati
agníḥ pū́rvebhir ŕ̥ṣibhir ī́ḍyo nū́tanair utá sá devā́m̐ éhá vakṣati
agniḥ pūrvebhiḥ r̥ṣi-bhiḥ īḍyaḥ nūtanaiḥ uta saḥ devān ā iha vakṣati
Worthy is Agni to be praised by living as by ancient seers. He shall bring hitherward the Gods.
Agni is worthy to be praised, By present as by seers of old: May he to us conduct the gods.
Agni, worthy to be magnified by the ancient Rishis and by the present ones — may he conduct the gods hither.
Agni war von den früheren R̥ṣis und ist von den jüngsten zu berufen; er möge die Götter hierher fahren.
Der von der alten Sängerschar, von neuen auch zu preisen ist, Die Götter fahr uns Agni her.
Agni est digne d'être invoqué par les Prophètes antiques ainsi que par ceux de maintenant:/ qu'il convoie les dieux ici!
